CDC Pride for Parents Christmas Store Volunteers
***Volunteers – PLEASE BRING A ROLL OF WRAPPING PAPER***
The goal of the Christmas store is to provide resources that encourage economic sustainability by starting a new tradition built on dignity and empowerment, not dependency. CDC gathers donations of toys, winter coats, clothing, and food.
We then sell these gifts to families in our community for 80—90% off the retail price. That’s a $20 gift for $2-$4! The proceeds go back into the development of the store to further meet the needs of the community. The store seeks to utilize the Christmas holiday to serve the Central Detroit area with affordable Christmas gifts and necessities.
Join us for an exciting time serving one another!
